How do female artists challenge restrictive social constructs of female voices?
How can an inquiry into gendered perspectives and art practices set to broaden existing approaches to creativity, and to contest patriarchal frameworks that have informed female artist’s practice?
Curating in Hama-On gallery, i seek to connect these key questions and re-frame the way we experience the dynamic of creativity as practiced by women from diverse cultures and gender identities.
Collectively the selected artists in the gallery represent female practises in the broadest sense, exploring mediums, as well as rhythmic patterns That are part of the creative collaborations in the unique space of "Computest".
